In May 2022 the UNIÓ DE RADIOAFICIONATS DE CATALUNYA - URCAT celebrates its 25th anniversary. The special callsign  AM25URC will be active and licensed amateur operators and radio listeners (SWL) all over the world are called to participate in this 25th anniversary diploma. Duration: The AM25URC station will be active from 00:01 UTC on 15/05/2022 to 23:59 UTC on 30/05/2022. Modes: SSB, CW, Digital (FT8 / FT4, PSK, RTTY, SSTV…). Bands: HF, VHF and UHF. Awards: 3 different diploma grades will be awarded based on the number of contacts. The requirements to obtain a diploma are as follows: ●GOLD:  10 contacts ●SILVER:  5 contacts ●BRONZE:  3 contacts Contacts will be valid on different days and bands. This means that those contacts made in the same band and on the same day will be considered duplicate contacts and will not contribute to the obtention of the diploma. Repeater contacts will not be valid. Nevertheless, satellite contacts will contribute to the attainment of a diploma. Rules are available at: http://urcat.cat/AM25URC/bases . All participants can check if they have merited a diploma by entering their callsign in the “Log query” section of the website. As long as an operator has merit for one of them, the system will allow him/her to download it in JPG format.
